Business Development Manager – USA

Full-time; remotely in the USA

In the past 10 years, 3S Lift has had an annual growth rate of 30% to 50%. 3S Americas, Inc. is located in Chicago, IL. It will grow to 20-30 employees in the next two years, covering both North and South America, with the functions of sales and marketing, engineering, finance, warehouse and assembly, and after-sale services. We are continuously looking for hardworking and talented people to grow with us.

What?
As part of our team at 3S Americas, your focus will be to drive the sales and business development for our solutions in the Americas region. Your tasks will be diverse and include:
  • Lead the sales lifecycle process, taking ultimate responsibility for achieving the sales targets (orders booked, revenue fulfilled, and profit)
  • Directly manage all business development efforts with customers such as OEMs, IPPs, ISPs, tower manufacturers and utility companies
  • Be involved in both driving new business and managing accounts, develop and design technical solutions with both existing and new customers
  • Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
  • Follow the whole process of product qualification by our customers, including technical product qualification, prototype evaluation, batch order qualification, and order implementation

  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience in the wind industry is required

  • Bachelor in Engineering, Business or equivalent is required
  • Solid technical background, sales skills & communication skills are required

    Service Technician – Australia

    Full-time; remotely in Australia

    3S Lift is a well-established Chinese supplier of tower internals (lifts, platforms, ladders and more) for wind turbines. With a global presence of around 1000 employees and offices in China, India, USA and Europe, 3S Lift is well-positioned to support renewable energies for the benefit of the climate.

In this position, you can play an active role in influencing 3S Australia’s future course. As part of our Australian team, you will have the opportunity to build parts of the business from scratch. You will have a lot of freedom to operate and be supported by our structure and guidance. You can make a large contribution and will directly see the results of your work.

    What?
    As part of our team at 3S Lift in Australia, your focus will be to provide tower service lift installation training and other service tasks. You will also support our engineers from other countries, who will provide the service in Australia. You will support our team with the spare parts shipping from or to Beijing HQ. Your tasks will be diverse and include:
  • Act as the direct interface to the 3S Australia customers in leading the project management and execution of new projects and service projects
  • Work directly with customers to provide remote troubleshooting support
  • Travel to wind turbine sites to provide installation and/or service support as needed
  • Develop a receiving inspection procedure for products delivered to site
  • Improve upon the existing service lifts installation process by implementing quality checklists and inspections
  • Maintain the tools and spare parts process and process all shipments to customers
  • Manage Warranty claims with customers – both remotely and in the field by assisting customers through any repairs or operational issues relating to our products
  • Lead customer and third-party training for the installation and service of the 3S products

  • High technical affinity
  • Australian wind farm working certificates, such as white card, working at height and rescure certificate, First Aid certificate preferred
  • Understanding of circuit diagrams preferred
